“ We went on a weekend and it was buzzing—maybe slightly too loud for us. We found out after that there’s a proper restaurant and a tapas area that are different. For the tapas there’s a line to order at the bar. The front patio was really loud but it was much calmer inside and in the back patio. ”

“ What a pleasant surprise!! We were just looking for the first place to eat after hiking out to Gastelugatxe, and stumbled upon this place on our way back to Bilbao. This was the best meal we had during our whole visit to the Basque Country, including many incredible meals in San Sebastián and Bilbao. We had the scallops (amazing!), the buñuelos de bacalao (to dive for!), the papas bravas (would make Jose Andres drool!), and the tomato/tuna/Pepper salad (flavor bombs!). If you plan on hiking around here, there's no better after-hike treat than this!! ”
“ We came to the restaurant on a very crowded day and not super welcoming in terms of atmosphere/customers next to us (who used part of our table to put their bags and jackets and forced us to eat on the opposite corner of the table). It was also very noisy and a pillar was right next to the table so it was not super comfy. On the good side, the waitress was really nice and helpful and the food was simple but quite tasty. You can definitely give it a try! ”
